NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Junior National qualifier Giovanni “Gio” Linscheer<\/strong> of Richardson, Texas, has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Florida beginning in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

He will join Cam Abaqueta<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Dawson Joyce<\/a> <\/strong>in Gainesville as a member of the Gators\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m super excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Florida! I\u2019m super thankful for the family, coaches, and my teammates who helped me get where I am today #gogators”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented IMer and distance freestyler, Linscheer does his club swimming with the City of Richardson Swim Team and most recently earned four best times at the 18&U Winter Championships after picking up two at the Toyota U.S. Open. In Summer 2019, he finaled in four events at Austin Sectionals.<\/p>\n
