NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill has scored another impressive verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from Olympic Trials qualifier Michelle Morgan\u00a0<\/strong>of Tampa, Fla.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Ede Kosik<\/strong><\/a>, Ellie Taliaferro<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Emma Karam<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Lily Reader<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kyleigh Tankard<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Aislin Farris<\/b><\/a>\u00a0as a member of the Tar Heels\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am ecstatic to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of North Carolina!! I am so grateful for all of my coaches, family, and friends who helped me through this process, I couldn\u2019t have done it without them. I can\u2019t wait to be a part of the UNC family!! A talented freestyler and IMer, Morgan trains year-round with Pipeline Swimming and picked up three best times at the Florida Virtual Championships last month after registering three podium finishes at the Florida OT Qualifier last February.<\/p>\n

In Summer 2019, she posted six top-5 finishes at the Florid LCM Age Group Championships before going on to place fourth in the 1500m free and ninth in the 400m free at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
