NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Kentucky has picked up another verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season from Junior National qualifier\u00a0Lucy Reber\u00a0<\/strong>of Hudson, Ohio.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Lydia Hanlon<\/strong><\/a>, Grace Frericks<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Marin McKee<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Jordan Agliano<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Breckin Gormley<\/b><\/a>\u00a0in Lexington as a member of the Wildcats\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and athletic career at the University of Kentucky! Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and friends for helping me through this process! Can\u2019t wait to be part of such an amazing program!!! Go cats??”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented backstroker, Reber does her club swimming with the Cleveland Swim Institute and earned five best times at the Spire 18&U Winter Championships last month where she finished third in the four events. Last winter, she registered seven top-16 finishes at Lake Erie Seniors.<\/p>\n

In Summer 2019, she finaled in three events at Cleveland Sectionals before going on to grab bronze in the 100m fly at Lake Erie LCM Seniors. Reber then raced three events at Geneva Futures.<\/p>\n
