The No. 4 men\u2019s squad beat No. 25 SMU, 170-130, in Dallas. The 12th-ranked Aggies women posted a 171-126 win in College Station over Houston.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jing Wen Quah<\/strong> led the women\u2019s team with three individual victories, while <strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> paired a pair of individual wins with a relay triumph as the Aggies swept every event of the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Stepanek, a freshman, anchored the victorious 200 medley relay, then won the 200 freestyle and 50 free. Quah took home wins in the 200 butterfly, 100 free and 400 individually medley in an impressive display of range.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kylie Powers<\/strong> swept the 100 and 200 breaststroke for Texas A&amp;M, and <strong>Grace Wey<\/strong> paired the leadoff leg of the medley relay with a victory in the 100 back. <strong>Olivia Theall<\/strong> was on both victorious relays. <strong>Aimee Wilson<\/strong> won both diving competitions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/12thman.com\/news\/2021\/1\/15\/mens-swimming-and-diving-no-4-mens-swim-dive-defeats-smu.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">For the men<\/a>, the 200 medley relay set the template. That squad \u2013 <strong>Ethan Gogulski, Andres Puente, Jace Brown <\/strong>and<strong> Tanner Olson<\/strong> \u2013 won in 1:27.93. Gogulski won the 100 back and 200 back. Puente captured the 200 breast in an NCAA B cut time of 1:57.58. Brown conquered the field in the 100 fly (in a B cut of 48.65) and 200 fly. Olson won the 100 breast in a B cut of 54.08.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kaloyan Bratanov<\/strong> added victories in the 100 free and 200 free for Texas A&amp;M.<\/p>\n<p>SMU won three events, all in 1-2 finishes. <strong>Pete Bozhilov<\/strong> led the way in the 1,000 free with <strong>Jack Callan. Justin Baker<\/strong> and <strong>Lance Butler<\/strong> were first to the wall in the 50 free, and <strong>Colin Feehery<\/strong> won the 200 IM with <strong>Connor Dalbo<\/strong> behind.<\/p>\n<p>Butler, <strong>Daniel Forndal, Charles Kaye<\/strong> and Baker got the win in the 200 free relay. Forndal was one of three seniors <a href=\"https:\/\/smumustangs.com\/news\/2021\/1\/15\/mens-swimming-diving-no-25-mustangs-fall-to-no-4-texas-am-170-130.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">honored in the Mustangs\u2019 Senior Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Texas A&amp;M\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s swimming teams picked up a pair of wins Friday in separate meets.
