He then won the 200 butterfly in 1:45.22 and the 100 fly in 46.44<\/p>\n<p>Thompson-Bailey won the 100 freestyle (44.29) and 200 free (1:37.06) and anchored the victorious 200 free relay (1:20.04 with <strong>Micah Chambers,<\/strong> Scanlon and Houlie).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You could see the skill work Kayky and Seth have been putting in,&#8221; UT associate head coach <strong>Lance Asti<\/strong> said <a href=\"https:\/\/utsports.com\/news\/2021\/1\/15\/swimming-diving-11-vols-swim-away-from-kentucky-to-win-season-series.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in a team release<\/a>. &#8220;Everything they have been doing in practice manifested itself in competition today. I thought Seth split his races exceptionally well and swam with a lot of confidence in the back half of his races. Kayky has been taking control of his races all season and continued to do that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Scanlon won the 50 free in 19.87, part of 11 consecutive victories in the middle of the meet, kicked off by Thompson-Bailey in the 200 free.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky\u2019s <strong>Jakob Clark<\/strong> won the 1,000 free in a personal-best 9:10.20, outdueling Tennessee\u2019s <strong>Rafael Ponce de Leon Castilla<\/strong> before Castilla garnered revenge in the 500 free. Clark\u2019s time is the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukathletics.com\/news\/2021\/1\/15\/rv-kentucky-mens-swimming-diving-falls-to-a-suited-up-no-11-tennessee.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seventh-fastest in program history.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kyle Barker<\/strong> won the 400 individual medley for the Wildcats.<\/p>\n<p>The schools also split the diving events, with Tennessee\u2019s <strong>Matthew Wade<\/strong> winning the one-meter and <strong>Mingli Zhang<\/strong> of Kentucky winning the three-meter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two individual wins each by Kayky Mota and Seth Thompson-Bailey led Tennessee to a 216-84 win over Kentucky.
