The pre-scratch psych sheets for the 2021 TYR Pro Swim Series in Richmond and although the meet is not as stacked as the San Antonio<\/a> site, it is still littered with a number of swimmers that have competed in the Olympic Games. The biggest name is current 200 IM world record holder\u00a0Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>as well as rising star\u00a0Claire Curzan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2021 Olympic qualifier\u00a0Ashley Twichell\u00a0<\/strong>is opening up her 2021 campaign as the top seed in the 400, 800 and 1500 free. Twichell has already qualified for Tokyo<\/a> in the 10K open water race. Olympic hopefuls\u00a0Emily Escobedo<\/strong>,\u00a0Catie DeLoof<\/strong>,\u00a0Erin Gemmell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Justin Ress<\/strong>, as well as 2016 Olympian\u00a0Jack Conger\u00a0<\/strong>are also going to be in attendance in Virginia. The meet will be held January 14 – 17 at SwimRVA.<\/p>\n

The TYR Pro Swim Series prelims sessions will be split into men\u2019s and women\u2019s sessions, with the women going at 9 a.m. and the men going at 12 p.m. Finals will all be in one session and will begin at 7 p.m. with only two heats swimming at night.<\/p>\n
