I want to thank the UCONN coaching staff for giving me this amazing opportunity, and I look forward to training and competing with an outstanding group of athletes. I also want to give a huge thank you to all of my coaches, teammates, friends and family who have supported me along the way! #gohuskies&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Spencer, who does her club swimming with SOLO Aquatics, placed 12th in the 200m breast and 14th in the 100m breast at the U.S. Open in Greensboro back in November. Spencer would&#8217;ve placed in the B-final of both the 100 and 200 breast at the\u00a02020 American Athletic Conference Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning on July 1, 2020, the Huskies returned to the Big East Conference.
