NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Southern California has scored their second verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from\u00a0Nisha Kijkanakorn<\/strong>, who was raised in Thailand before moving to Australia.<\/p>\n

She will join Canadian National Junior Teamer\u00a0Ashley McMillan<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Trojans’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“USC has always been my dream school and having the opportunity to explore the campus, meet the coaches and talk to the athletes, I was overwhelmed with excitement. I knew right away that USC is the one.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented breaststroker, Kijkanakorn trains with Nunawading Swimming Club and represents Thailand internationally. At the Southeast Asian Games in 2019, she earned bronze in the 100m breast and swam on the 4x100m medley relay.<\/p>\n

She also finished third in both the 100m and 200m breast at the Victorian Age Group Championships in August 2019 after placing second and third, respectively, in those events at the Australian Age Group Championships.<\/p>\n
