I want to thank my coaches, family and friends who have supported me along the way. I chose Princeton because it offers the best opportunity to combine world class academics with a competitive swimming environment. Princeton University is the perfect place for me to achieve my goals both academically and athletically. I am also very excited to see how far Coach Crispino and Coach Lennox can take the program and I am excited to be a part of it. I believe they have a strong vision for the team and we share many of the same values. In addition, I am eager to build an international swimming hub &amp; NCAA Top 10 program with Coach Matt &amp; Coach Doug. Go Tigers!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strobek, who does his club swimming with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gentofte Sv\u00f8mmeklub, won the 200m IM and was the runner-up in the 400m IM at the Danish Short Course National Championships last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He has also represented Denmark internationally. At the European Junior Championships in 2019, he was a semi-finalist in the 200m IM and is the second-fastest Danish age group swimmer of all-time in that event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In meters, his best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200m IM &#8211; 2:03.82 (LCM)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">400m IM &#8211; 4:26.83 (LCM)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100m back &#8211; 54.59 (SCM)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200m back &#8211; 2:04.72 (LCM)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In SCY, those times convert to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 IM &#8211; 1:48.44<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">400 IM &#8211; 3:54.79<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 back &#8211; 48.97<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 back &#8211; 1:49.89<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strobek will make an immediate impact when he arrives on campus as a member of the Class of 2026. His best times (converted to yards) would\u2019ve scored in the A-final of the 400 IM as well as the B-final of the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM at the 2020 Ivy League Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He will also overlap with <\/span><b>Raunak Khosla<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the 2020 conference champion in both IMs, for one year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*IVY LEAGUE DISCLAIMER:* A \u201cverbal commitment\u201d does not guarantee admission.
