{"id":457904,"date":"2020-12-21T19:11:25","date_gmt":"2020-12-22T02:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=457904"},"modified":"2020-12-21T19:24:48","modified_gmt":"2020-12-22T02:24:48","slug":"carmel-swim-club-sets-third-13-14-national-age-group-relay-record-in-as-many-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/carmel-swim-club-sets-third-13-14-national-age-group-relay-record-in-as-many-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Carmel Swim Club Sets Third 13-14 National Age Group Relay Record in as Many Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carmel Swim Club took down its third national age group relay record in as many days as the team of\u00a0<strong>Carter Lancaster\u00a0<\/strong>(23.44),\u00a0<strong>Brandon Malicki\u00a0<\/strong>(25.99), <strong>Emile Haig\u00a0<\/strong>(23.50) and\u00a0<strong>Gregg Enoch\u00a0<\/strong>(21.68) broke the 200 medley relay NAG 13-14 record with a 1:34.61, taking down Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s 1:35.11 from earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>This same quartet also lowered the NAG in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/carmel-boys-register-nag-13-14-record-in-400-medley-relay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">400 medley relay<\/a> two days ago with a 3:24.49 as Lancaster, Haig and Enoch also teamed up with\u00a0<strong>Lewis Zhang\u00a0<\/strong>to set the 400 free relay NAG record last night with a 3:08.77.<\/p>\n<p>Lancaster is the son of former Carmel legend and Michigan grad\u00a0<strong>Jason Lancaster<\/strong>, who won 12 state titles in high school from 1991 &#8211; 94, and also was on the Michigan team in 1995 that won the national title under coach\u00a0<strong>Jon Urbanchek<\/strong>.
