I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for all of their unconditional support. Can\u2019t wait to join this amazing team! GO GOPHERS!!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Johnson, who does her club swimming with Rocket Aquatics, most recently recorded six best times at the WEST Senior Mid-Season Showdown last month after competing at the Toyota U.S. Open. She finished fourth in the 100 back at the Wisconsin 13&amp;O Championships back in March and raced at Juniors West last December.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Summer 2019, she had a great showing at the Wisconsin 13&amp;O LCM Championships where her highest finish was a fifth-place showing in the 100m back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 back \u2013 54.13<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 back \u2013 1:59.21<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 free \u2013 24.01<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 free \u2013 53.07<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 free \u2013 1:55.69<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 fly \u2013 54.63<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 fly \u2013 2:01.66<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 IM \u2013 2:07.57<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">400 IM \u2013 4:31.00<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently a junior at Sussex Hamilton High School, Johnson is a six-time individual Wisconsin DI State Championship finalist. She grabbed bronze in both the 100 back and 100 fly in 2020 while taking seventh and sixth, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Johnson will add valuable depth to the Golden Gophers\u2019 lineup when she arrives on campus at the start of the 2022-23 season.
