All my hard work and help from the people closest to me propelled me to the point where I am currently. I am ready to start a new chapter in my life and grow as a swimmer and, more importantly, a person. Go Lions!!!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented sprinter, Russell swims year-round with Eagle Swimming Association under head coach <strong>Matt Sanspree<\/strong>. He earned a best time at College Station Sectionals back in February and won the 100 back at the Speedo Greater Southwest meet in January. He placed seventh in the 100 back as a junior while taking 14th in that event during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n<p>Russell will add valuable depth both individually and on relays when he arrives on campus at the start of the 2021-22 season.
