Bilis and Rapsys teamed together last month in the International Swimming League for Energy Standard where the team finished second in the grand final to the Cali Condors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.swimrankings.net\/28724\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The pair may also team together to potentially try and qualify a freestyle relay for Lithuania to the Olympic Games. 17-year-old\u00a0<strong>Daniil Pancerevas\u00a0<\/strong>broke the 17 age record with a 50.22 while\u00a0<strong>Jokubas Keblys\u00a0<\/strong>was fourth at 50.25. Lithuania did qualify a men&#8217;s medley relay at the 2016 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andrius Sidlauskas\u00a0<\/strong>raced\u00a0<strong>Giedrius Titenis\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 breaststroke to start the session with Sidlauskas winning at 59.83 to Titenis&#8217; 59.92 as Sidlauskas is now ranked 12th in the world for 2020. Both swimmers were able to get under the Olympic A standard of 59.93 which should solidify their places on the plane to Tokyo as both swimmers raced the 100 breast in Rio with Titenis finishing tenth in the semi finals and Sidlauskas getting 23rd in the heats.<\/p>\n<p>Titenis has swum in the last three Olympics as he was 12th in the 100 breast in 2008 and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2012-london-olympics-cameron-van-der-burghs-world-record-ends-kosuke-kitajimas-threepeat-bid-in-100-breast-hansen-medals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">eighth in the same event in 2012<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other winners on the night came from\u00a0<strong>Nojus Skirutis\u00a0<\/strong>in the 400 IM (4:38.77),\u00a0<strong>Marija Romanovskaja\u00a0<\/strong>in the 400 IM (5:17.25),\u00a0<strong>Deividas Margevicius<\/strong> and <strong>Erika Pasakinskaite <\/strong>in the 200 butterfly (2:01.96, 2:21.85) and\u00a0<strong>Smilte Plytnykaite\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 freestyle (57.86).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Advertising: Shop At Swim360<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ads.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/abmc.aspx?b=1546&amp;z=0\" target=\"checked\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/ads.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/banners\/360swim.com\/360swim-block-300-x-250-may-2020.jpg?ssl=1\" border=\"0\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>27-year-old\u00a0Simonas Bilis\u00a0won the 100 freestyle on Friday night at the Lithuanian Championships in Klaip\u0117da in a head to head win over\u00a0Danas Rapsys\u00a0with a 49.16 to Rapsys&#8217; 49.25.
