Virginia Tech was second (657), followed by North Carolina (530) and Duke (519.5).<\/p>\n<p>The finals session started with the 1650 freestyle events. NC State\u2019s <strong>Yara Hierath<\/strong> won the women\u2019s race in16:07.92, while <strong>Eric Knowles<\/strong> of the Wolfpack won the men\u2019s race in 14:48. 06.<\/p>\n<p>NC State\u2019s<strong> Katharine Berkoff<\/strong> put together a strong swim to win the 200 backstroke in 1:50.20, more than two seconds ahead of the field.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 200 backstroke, <strong>Mikey Moore<\/strong> of the Wolfpack won in 1:42.66 ahead of teammate 1:43.22.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kylee Alons<\/strong> was up next for the NC State Wolfpack and won the 100 free in 48.97, holding off Virginia Tech\u2019s <strong>Sarah<\/strong> <strong>Shackelford<\/strong> (49.05).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More college news<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Swimming unattached, national team member <strong>Michael Chadwick<\/strong> won the 100 free in 41.96 ahead of North Carolina\u2019s <strong>Tyler Hill<\/strong> (42.78).<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 breast, NC State&#8217;s <strong>Andrea Podmanikova<\/strong> won in 2:06.99. The men&#8217;s race was won by <strong>Valdas Abaliksta<\/strong> in 1:55.19.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bailey Nero<\/strong>, swimming unattached, won the women&#8217;s 200 butterfly in 1:55.72.
