The Toronto Titans and Team Iron are also in this match and will look to spoil the party. The time is the fastest time this season in the league and a new ISL record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Fly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>did not breathe the entire last 25 of the 100 fly with aa 48.92 in winning the event over LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tom Shields\u00a0<\/strong>(49.01).\u00a0<strong>Marcin Cieslak\u00a0<\/strong>of the Condors finished in third at 49.54 as the Pol and former Florida Gator has been clutch all season for the Condors and is a big reason why their men&#8217;s team is so improved this season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beata Nelson<\/strong> used 12 kicks on her last wall to seal a 2:01.65 win from wire to wire in the 200 backstroke, taking down Toronto&#8217;s dynamic duo of <strong>Kylie Masse <\/strong>(2:02.59) and <strong>Lisa Bratton\u00a0<\/strong>(2:03.46).\u00a0<strong>Hali Flickinger\u00a0<\/strong>finished in third at 2:02.99 to pick up extra points for the Condors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>smashed the ISL record with a 1:47.48 in the 200 backstroke to gather 19 total points, ahead of Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Radoslaw Kawecki\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.51), putting the Current three points down after 4 events. Toronto&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cole Pratt\u00a0<\/strong>(1:50.82)\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jay Lelliott\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.77) kept their points for third and fourth as Murphy took all the rest of the points for himself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lilly King\u00a0<\/strong>nearly avoided a big upset in the 200 breast as she picked up three additional points with a 2:16.79. Toronto&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Wog\u00a0<\/strong>was leading through 150 meters and ultimately finished in second with a 2:17.18. Toronto picked up extra points from\u00a0<strong>Jocelyn Ulyett\u00a0<\/strong>in third at 2:19.50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sticking with the California theme today, LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will Licon\u00a0<\/strong>held off\u00a0<strong>Anton McKee\u00a0<\/strong>in the 200 breast with a 2:02.47 to McKee&#8217;s 2:02.61. It was a little upset as McKee had been a 2:01 this season. Licon and McKee graduated the same year with Licon taking three NCAA titles while at Texas and McKee finishing runner-up as a senior to Licon at Alabama. Third went to Toronto&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erik Persson\u00a0<\/strong>at 2:04.10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cali Condors won the 4&#215;100 free relay with a 3:28.52 with the quartet of <strong>Olivia Smoliga <\/strong>(51.89),\u00a0<strong>Erika Brown <\/strong>(51.97),\u00a0<strong>Allison Schmitt<\/strong> (52.54) and <strong>Natalie Hinds\u00a0<\/strong>(52.12) holding off LA&#8217;s 3:28.72 with\u00a0<strong>Andi Murez\u00a0<\/strong>anchoring at 51.63. The Toronto Titans were third at 3:30.86.<\/p>\n<p>ISL Semi Final 2 Team Scores at break one:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cali Condors, 99<\/li>\n<li>LA Current, 91<\/li>\n<li>Toronto Titans, 79<\/li>\n<li>Iron, 25<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>narrowly broke his own world record with a 20.28 in the 50 free, just missing his 20.24 world record from last year. He picked up six extra points as\u00a0<strong>Kristian Gkolomeev\u00a0<\/strong>finished in second place at 20.80 with\u00a0Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>in third at 20.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iron&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo\u00a0<\/strong>blasted a 23.37 to win the 50 freestyle for Iron&#8217;s first win of the day as she gave her team 17 total points to give them a huge boost on the day in ISL semi final 2. LA finished 2-3 with\u00a0<strong>Abbey Weitzeil\u00a0<\/strong>(23.57) and\u00a0<strong>Beryl Gastaldello\u00a0<\/strong>(23.66).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iron picked up a back to back win with\u00a0<strong>Leonardo Santos\u00a0<\/strong>taking a wire to wire win at 1:52.06 with teammate\u00a0<strong>Yakov Toumarkin\u00a0<\/strong>in third at 1:53.17. LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andrew Seliskar\u00a0<\/strong>split the pair at 1:53.06.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Gorbenko\u00a0<\/strong>of the Current won a hard fought race in the 200 IM with a 2:06.68, running down Toronto&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Wog\u00a0<\/strong>(2:06.87) and Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Beata Nelson\u00a0<\/strong>(2:07.38).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iron grabbed its third win in four events with\u00a0<strong>Emre Sakci\u00a0<\/strong>winning the 50 breast at 25.54 as\u00a0<strong>Cameron van der Burgh&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>world record will last another day. He picked up 24 total points to bring Iron back within third place. LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Felipe Franca\u00a0<\/strong>(26.02) and\u00a0<strong>Anton McKee\u00a0<\/strong>(26.49) were the only other swimmers to keep their points as the Current have taken the lead in the standings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Molly Hannis\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed her second win of the day with a 29.24 over\u00a0<strong>Lilly King&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>29.35. The Condors took the lead back after the Current passed them after the last race. Iron picked up third and fourth with <strong>Ida Hulkko <\/strong>(29.40) and <strong>Jenna Laukkanen\u00a0<\/strong>(29.92), giving them enough points to pass Toronto for third place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The LA Current took a much needed win in the men&#8217;s relay with a 3:04.78 as the quartet of\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney <\/strong>(46.26),\u00a0<strong>Tom Shields <\/strong>(46.05),\u00a0<strong>Kristian Gkolomeev<\/strong> (45.76) and <strong>Dylan Carter<\/strong> (46.71) just holding off the Condors at 3:04.98 with Toronto in third at 3:05.80. Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>closed in a 44.91 but it was not enough.<\/p>\n<p>ISL Semi Final 2 Team Scores at break 2:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cali Condors, 180<\/li>\n<li>LA Current, 177<\/li>\n<li>Iron, 118<\/li>\n<li>Toronto Titans, 112<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Olivia Smoliga\u00a0<\/strong>took the 50 backstroke in convincing fashion with a 25.75, over 24 hours after\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kira-toussaint-takes-down-world-record-in-50-backstroke-in-isl-semifinal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kira Toussaint<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>broke the first world record of the season yesterday in this event. LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Beryl Gastaldello\u00a0<\/strong>finished in second at 26.43 with Iron&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Melanie Henique\u00a0<\/strong>in third (26.58). Smoliga picked up three extra points with her swim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>picked up his second win of the day with a jackpot win of 22.76, getting three extra points. He just held off Cali&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Coleman Stewart\u00a0<\/strong>at 22.84 while Iron&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Guilherme Basseto\u00a0<\/strong>was third at 22.93.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hali Flickinger\u00a0<\/strong>utilized a strong last 100 to win the 400 freestyle at 4:00.79 with teammate\u00a0<strong>Haley Anderson\u00a0<\/strong>finishing third at 4:01.70 while Toronto&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anna Egorova\u00a0<\/strong>was second at 4:01.25 and fellow Russian\u00a0<strong>Veronika Andrusenko\u00a0<\/strong>was fourth at 4:01.74. All eight swimmers kept their points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In one of the best races of the day,\u00a0<strong>Townley Haas\u00a0<\/strong>took 10 points in the 400 freestyle with a 3:41.35, just out touching LA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fernando Scheffer\u00a0<\/strong>(3:41.40). Cali picked up third with\u00a0<strong>Eddie Wang\u00a0<\/strong>(3:42.08) and LA finished in fourth with\u00a0<strong>Jacob Heidtmann\u00a0<\/strong>(3:42.10).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Medley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cali Condors are in control of the Skins event tomorrow with another medley relay win at 3:48.09 as the quartet of <strong>Olivia Smoliga <\/strong>(56.11),\u00a0<strong>Lilly King <\/strong>(1:04.26),\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Dahlia<\/strong> (56.05) and <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong> (51.67) won over the LA Current (3:49.42) and Toronto Titans (3:50.14).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Medley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The LA Current secured a thrilling win to close the session with a 3:20.61 in the medley relay in control of tomorrow&#8217;s Skins event. The Condors gave them a big push with 3:20.96 for second place but it was not enough. The team of\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>(49.90),\u00a0<strong>Felipe Franca\u00a0<\/strong>(56.51),\u00a0<strong>Tom Shields\u00a0<\/strong>(48.14) and\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney\u00a0<\/strong>(46.06) just held off Cali&#8217;s team of\u00a0<strong>Coleman Stewart\u00a0<\/strong>(49.92),\u00a0<strong>Nic Fink\u00a0<\/strong>(56.76),\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>(48.92) and <strong>Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>(45.36).
