The US Open Championships continued across the country in nine venues on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The meet is being run virtual because of COVID-19 with times aggregated together to determine a US Open champion in each event.<\/p>\n

Here is a look at the top women\u2019s early performances on the East Coast:<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 1500 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Greensboro, Ashley Twitchell<\/strong> was first in the 1500 free, touching in 16:18.11.<\/p>\n

In Indy, national champion Ally McHugh<\/strong> won the 1500 free in 16:30.40 ahead of Rachel Stege<\/strong> (17:03.93).<\/p>\n

In Richmond, Virginia\u2019s Paige Madden<\/strong> won the 1500 free, touching the wall in 16:36.84.<\/p>\n

Paige McKenna<\/strong> was second (16:42.15), followed by Virginia\u2019s Madelyn Donohoe<\/strong> (16:51.90).<\/p>\n

In Sarasota, Michaela Mattes<\/strong> was first in 16:51.97.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Greensboro, Katharine Berkhoff<\/strong> won the 200 backstroke in 2:10.12, ahead of NC State’s Emma Muzzy<\/strong> (2:14.22).<\/p>\n

In Indy’s US Open stop, Kathleen Baker<\/strong> was first in the 200 back, touching the wall in 2:11.38.<\/p>\n

Josephine Rame<\/strong>y was second in 2:13.70.<\/p>\n

In Richmond, Summer Smith<\/strong> dropped more than three seconds to win the 200 back in 2:12.95.<\/p>\n

Smith finished just ahead of Virginia\u2019s Alex Walsh<\/strong>, who finished in 2:13.18. Nova\u2019s Zoe Dixon<\/strong> was third in 2:14.93.<\/p>\n

In Sarasota, Emma Weyant<\/strong> won in 2:13.77 ahead of Celina Marquez (2:13.83).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Richmond, Torri Huske<\/strong> continued her stellar meet with a win in the 100 free, touching the wall in 54.04.<\/p>\n

Virginia\u2019s Kate Douglass<\/strong> was second in 55.24, holding off Erin Gemmell<\/strong> (56.22).<\/p>\n

In Greensboro, Claire Curzan<\/strong> won in 54.93, ahead of Egypt’s Farida Osman<\/strong> (55.49).<\/p>\n

In Indy, Mallory Comerford<\/strong> was first to the wall in 55.21, finishing ahead of Casey Fanz<\/strong> (56.18), Kristina Paegle<\/strong> (56.22) and Gabby DeLoof<\/strong> (56.60).<\/p>\n

In Sarasota, Micayla Cronk<\/strong> was first in 55.97.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Breast<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Richmond, Virginia\u2019s Anna Keating<\/strong> touched the wall first in 2:29.38 to finish ahead of Virginia\u2019s Margaret Nelson<\/strong> (2:29.64).<\/p>\n

They were the only swimmers to break 2:30 in Richmond.<\/p>\n

In Greensboro, Micah Sumrall<\/strong> was first to the wall in 2:30.02 ahead of teammate Rachel Bernhardt<\/strong> (2:31.35).<\/p>\n

In Indy, Laura Morley<\/strong> touched firs tin 2:30.27, ahead of Noelle Peplowski<\/strong> (2:30.52).<\/p>\n

In Sarasota, Gracie Weyant<\/strong> touched in 2:32.85 ahead of Emma Weyant<\/strong> (2:34.04).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Fly<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Indy’s US Open stop, Michigan\u2019s Olivia Carter<\/strong> was first to the wall in the 200 butterfly, touching in 2:10.52. Kentucky\u2019s Alena Kraus<\/strong> was second in 2:14.17, ahead of Martina Peroni<\/strong> (2:14.30).<\/p>\n

In Greensboro, Charlotte Hook<\/strong> touched the wall in 2:10.90. Bailey Nero<\/strong> was second (2:14.67).<\/p>\n

Virginia\u2019s Abigail Harter<\/strong> touched first in Richmond in the 200 fly, winning in 2:13.02.<\/p>\n

Nova\u2019s Grace Sheble<\/strong> was second in 2:13.47 ahead of Huske, who just minutes after winning the 100 free, took third in 2:14.03.<\/p>\n
