Carson&#8217;s time is the second sub-2:00 200 IM today after\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2020-us-open-ryan-lochte-wins-200-im-in-sarasota-kieran-smith-wins-400-free\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chase Kalisz<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>won the Greensboro heat with a 1:59.7. Carson sits second on the day in the 200 IM while Jake sits seventh overall with just the Beaverton site remaining. Foster&#8217;s best was a 1:57 from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/event\/2020\/11\/12\/default-calendar\/toyota-u.s.-open\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US Open<\/a> in December 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas men swept all three events on Friday afternoon as\u00a0<strong>Daniel Krueger\u00a0<\/strong>won the 50 at 23.25 ahead of <b>Jack Armstrong\u00a0<\/b>(23.34) and\u00a0<strong>Cameron McAnany\u00a0<\/strong>(23.47). Longhorn freshman\u00a0<strong>Coby Carrozza\u00a0<\/strong>won the 400 free at 3:54.34 ahead of Texas grad\u00a0<strong>Jeff Newkirk\u00a0<\/strong>(3:55.04). Both those times sit outside the top eight for the day.<\/p>\n<p>In Beaverton,\u00a0<strong>Santo Condorelli\u00a0<\/strong>posted the fastest time of the day in the 50 freestyle with a 22.27 on the west coast, surpassing\u00a0<strong>Ryan Held\u00a0<\/strong>(22.35) out of Huntsville earlier today.<\/p>\n<p>In Irvine, <strong>Grant House<\/strong> covered the 200 individual medley in 2:03.04 to pick up a comfortable win over <strong>Etay Gurevich<\/strong> (2:05.53). The 400 freestyle was won by <strong>John Gallant<\/strong> in 3:53.61, with Olympian <strong>Jordan Wilimovsky<\/strong> a second back in 3:54.56.
