Aqua Centurions 154<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cali made it two wins in a row as <strong>Hali Flickinger<\/strong> won the 200 butterfly. She jumped out to a big lead and held it steady the rest of the way to touch the wall in 2:04.36. Flickinger stole 10 points on the jackpot time.<\/p>\n<p>LA Current&#8217;s <strong>Helena Gasson<\/strong> was second, followed by London&#8217;s <strong>Emily Large. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel like I am getting stronger as this camp goes,&#8221; Flickinger said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LA Current&#8217;s <strong>Tom Shields<\/strong> held off Cali&#8217;s <strong>Eddie Wang<\/strong> in the final meters to win the 200 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Shields touched the wall in 1:49.78, the first swim under 1:50.<\/p>\n<p>Wang broke the world junior record in the event and London&#8217;s <strong>Vini Lanza<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p>Team scores:<\/p>\n<p>1. Aqua Centurions 158<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Olivia Smoliga<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke for the fifth time in her ISL career, using a late surge to hold off London Road&#8217;s <strong>Kira Toussaint<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Smoliga touched the wall in 55.92 and earned 15 points for the Condors.<\/p>\n<p>Toussaint was second, followed by Cali&#8217;s <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was a great race. (Kira) is an awesome competitor. I am excited to see how we do in semis and finals,&#8221; Smoliga said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LA&#8217;s <strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke in a tight race with teammate <strong>Dylan Carter<\/strong>. Murphy won the race in 49.93 in a race where three tenths separated the top five competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Carter was second, holding off Cali&#8217;s <strong>Radoslaw Kawecki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Team scores:<\/p>\n<p>1. Aqua Centurions 160<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LA Current&#8217;s <strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> earned her second win of the day, touching the wall in 57.43 in the 100 IM.<\/p>\n<p>She went 1-2 with teammate <strong>Anastasia Gorbenko<\/strong> for a huge Current points haul.<\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Beata Nelson<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> broke the American record in the 100 IM to win in 50.48.<\/p>\n<p>He led a 1-2 Cali Condors finish with <strong>Marcin Cieslak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>LA&#8217;s <strong>Tomoe Hvas<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Freya Anderson<\/strong> of the London Roar held off two Olympic champions and a strong field to win the 200 freestyle and give the Roar their first win of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson touched the wall in 1:52.82.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is nice to have it back to back (in the ISL) and try different race patterns,&#8221; Anderson said.<\/p>\n<p>LA&#8217;s <strong>Andi Murez<\/strong> finished second, followed by Cali&#8217;s <strong>Allison Schmitt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua Centurions&#8217; <strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong>, who returned for this meet after battling COVID-19, finished fourth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Townley Haas<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:41.84, holding off the field.<\/p>\n<p>London&#8217;s <strong>Mikhail Vekovischev<\/strong> was second, followed by LA&#8217;s <strong>Fernando Scheffer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LA&#8217;s <strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> continued to dominate, winning her third event of the day. She won the 50 fly in 25.30, leading a 1-2 finish with teammate <strong>Alyssa Marsh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Kelsi Dahlia<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aqua&#8217;s <strong>Szebasztian Szabo<\/strong> won the 50 butterfly from lane one to hold off the Cali Condors.<\/p>\n<p>Szabo finished in 21.86.<\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> was second, followed by teammate <strong>Marcin Cieslak<\/strong>. Dressel tied the American record in 22.06.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Lilly King<\/strong> won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.15, holding off a strong field after being edged in two races in Day 1.<\/p>\n<p>London&#8217;s <strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> took second, followed by Aqua&#8217;s <strong>Martina Carraro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aqua went 1-2 in the men&#8217;s breaststroke as <strong>Nicolo Martinenghi <\/strong>(56.46) won the race ahead of teammate <strong>Fabio Scozzoli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>LA&#8217;s <strong>Felipe Silva Franca<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p>Team scores:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cali Condors 452<\/li>\n<li>LA Current 402<\/li>\n<li>London Roar 320<\/li>\n<li>Aqua Centurions 213<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Mixed 4&#215;100 Freestyle Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cali Condors jumped out on an early lead in the 4&#215;100 freestyle relay behind <strong>Justin Ress, Caeleb Dresse<\/strong>l. <strong>Olivia<\/strong> <strong>Smoliga<\/strong> kept the lead heading into the anchor leg by <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Condors finished in 3:16.14.<\/p>\n<p>LA Current&#8217;s <strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> pulled the team to second with a stellar anchor leg.<\/p>\n<p>The London Roar finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London&#8217;s <strong>Syndey Pickrem<\/strong> won the 400 IM in 4:25.90, well ahead of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Cali&#8217;s <strong>Hali Flickinger<\/strong> was second, followed by London&#8217;s <strong>Aimee Willmott<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel good about it,&#8221; Pickrem said. &#8220;It is good to get that momentum going into the semifinals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London&#8217;s <strong>Duncan Scott<\/strong> had a big lead in the 400 IM but had to hold off a late charge in the freestyle to earn the win. He finished in 4:07.88.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua&#8217;s <strong>Philip Heintz<\/strong> finished second ahead of LA&#8217;s <strong>Jacob Heidtmann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ISL Women&#8217;s 50 Breaststroke Skins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First round<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.
