NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The NC State Wolfpack has received their sixth verbal commitment for their growing Class of 2026, this time from Olympic Trials qualifier Aubree Brouwer\u00a0<\/strong>of Joplin, Mo.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Meghan Donald<\/strong>,<\/a> Grace Monahan<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kennedy Noble<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Emma Hastings<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Katherine Helms<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>in Raleigh at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am so blessed to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at North Carolina State University! I\u2019m so thankful for my coaches, teammates, and my parents for all of their support through this process. I couldn\u2019t be more excited to work with such a great group of coaches and athletes!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One of the top breaststrokers in her class, Brouwer does her club swimming with Springfield Aquatics and owns the Olympic Trials cut in the 100m breast with the U.S. Open standard in the 200 breast. She finaled in the 100m breast at the Toyota U.S. Open last December before going on to take 19th in that event at the TYR Pro Swim Series – Knoxville.<\/p>\n

She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts in the pool and in the classroom.<\/p>\n
