Her time of 22.22 broke the previous mark held by Gulliver Prep&#8217;s <strong>Christina Swindle <\/strong>since 2002.<\/p>\n<p>After securing the runner-up position last year, Creekside clinched the girls&#8217; team title this season with 271 points ahead of defending champions Oviedo (246). For the second-straight year, Oviedo used their impressive depth to win the boys&#8217; meet with a final score of 216 ahead of Creekside (192.5).<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2020-florida-4a-state-championships\/high-school\/2020\/November\/7?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fhigh-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HERE<\/a> for full results and team scores.<\/p>\n<h1>GIRLS MEET<\/h1>\n<h2>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Creekside &#8211; 271<br \/>\n2. Oviedo &#8211; 246<br \/>\n3. Winter Park &#8211; 230<br \/>\n4. Riverview Sarasota &#8211; 190<br \/>\n5. Windermere &#8211; 166<\/p>\n<p>The meet began as Creekside&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grace Gavin\u00a0<\/strong>(26.40),\u00a0<strong>Madison Koutavas\u00a0<\/strong>(29.26),\u00a0<strong>Jennifer Bird\u00a0<\/strong>(24.84),\u00a0<strong>Emma Chestang\u00a0<\/strong>(23.43) won the opening 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:43.93.<\/p>\n<p>Flagler Palm Coast&#8217;s <strong>Micayla Cronk<\/strong> won the 200 free for the fourth-straight year after posting a winning time of 1:46.23. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-scores-first-2021-22-verbal-from-in-state-standout-national-junior-teamer-micayla-cronk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The future Florida Gator<\/a> later successfully defended her title in the 100 free, clocking in at 48.78 as the only athlete to crack 50 seconds. She still owns the state record of 48.20 set in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>H.B. Plant&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Bathurst<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/two-more-for-uva-ella-bathurst-kate-morris-verbally-commit-to-hoos-for-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">who has committed to Virginia<\/a>, dominated the 200 IM, winning in 1:58.24 as the only swimmer in the field under the two-minute barrier. She also won the 100 back in 52.77 &#8211; four seconds ahead of the field &#8211; and was just shy of\u00a0<strong>Clara Smiddy&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>2013 state record of 52.46.<\/p>\n<p>Mulvihill lit the pool on fire in the 50 free. Her time of 22.30 during prelims tied the overall FHSAA state record set by Gulliver Prep&#8217;s <strong>Christina Swindle <\/strong>in 2002, and she dropped a blistering 22.22 to claim the record as her own during finals. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/auburn-picks-up-three-class-of-2025-verbals-from-lexie-mulvihill-lucy-oneill-jenna-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Auburn commit<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>was then back in the pool to win the 100 fly, getting her hands to the wall in 53.16 ahead of Allen D. Nease\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Olivia Peoples <\/strong>(53.41). Peoples, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/gators-get-class-of-2025-verbal-from-florida-100-fly-state-record-holder-olivia-peoples\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">another Florida commit<\/a>, owns the state record in the event at 52.73 set in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Riverview freshman\u00a0<strong>Addison Sauickie\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to first in the 500 free, finishing in 4:47.23 for the first state title of her career. Her teammate and fellow freshman\u00a0<strong>Gracie Weyant\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 breast with a final time of 1:01.51 ahead of Peoples (1:02.40).<\/p>\n<p>Winter Park&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lucy Jahn\u00a0<\/strong>(24.42),\u00a0<strong>Cambria Semmen\u00a0<\/strong>(23.16),\u00a0<strong>Moriah Freitas\u00a0<\/strong>(23.89),\u00a0<strong>Lockett Bowley\u00a0<\/strong>(23.50) combined to win the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:34.97.<\/p>\n<h1>BOYS MEET<\/h1>\n<h2>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Oviedo &#8211; 216<br \/>\n2. Creekside &#8211; 192.5<br \/>\n3. Bartram Trail &#8211; 188<br \/>\n4. Allen D. Nease &#8211; 169<br \/>\n5. H.B. Plant &#8211; 168<\/p>\n<p>The boys&#8217; meet began as Bartram Trail&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mason Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>(23.55),\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Tayag\u00a0<\/strong>(26.03),\u00a0<strong>Raymond Prosinski\u00a0<\/strong>(23.85), and\u00a0<strong>Macguire McDuff\u00a0<\/strong>(19.82) won the 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:33.25, just ahead of Oviedo (1:33.38).<\/p>\n<p>Riverview&#8217;s <strong>Liam Custer\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the 200 IM, posting a four-second victory with a final time of 1:47.41 as the only swimmer to crack the 1:50-mark. His second victory of the night came in the 500 free where he won by nine seconds with a final time of 4:21.41.<\/p>\n<p>Seminole&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dawson Joyce\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted to gold in the 50 free, clocking in at 19.79.\u00a0SAND&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Larry Salls\u00a0<\/strong>also snuck under the 20-second barrier in 19.94 for silver. Joyce, who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-gators-enter-2022-recruiting-game-with-verbal-from-in-state-sprint-star-dawson-joyce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">verbally committed to Florida<\/a>, also won the 100 free with a time of 43.59. Second went to\u00a0<strong>Macguire McDuff\u00a0<\/strong>of Parkersburg South, who will also soon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/macguire-mcduff-and-aryan-nehra-will-join-florida-gators-class-of-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suit up for the Gators<\/a>, in 44.32.<\/p>\n<p>Gulf Coast&#8217;s <strong>Jack Stokvis\u00a0<\/strong>led the charge in the 100 fly, finishing first with a time of 48.36. H.B. Plant&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tommy Nagle\u00a0<\/strong>got his hands to the wall the fastest in the 100 breast, touching the wall in 55.10 for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Creekside&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dominic Miller\u00a0<\/strong>(20.67),\u00a0<strong>David Gapinski\u00a0<\/strong>(20.33),\u00a0<strong>Aidan Henry\u00a0<\/strong>(21.38), and\u00a0<strong>Jacob Douberly\u00a0<\/strong>(21.72) won the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:24.10. Lake Brantley\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Sage Sungail\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to first in the 200 free, getting his hand to the wall in 1:37.99.<\/p>\n<p>Oviedo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Davis Hanley\u00a0<\/strong>powered home to a win in the 100 back with a time of 49.15.
