NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Xavier University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from backstroker and freestyler\u00a0Alexis Worrall <\/strong>of Victor, N.Y. Currently undecided, she is considering a major in psychology.<\/p>\n

She will suit up for the Musketeers as a member of the class of 2025 along with\u00a0Amy Van Son<\/strong><\/a>, Kiara Anchrum<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Maddie Agans<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Molly<\/strong>\u00a0Dynda<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I was very impressed with Xavier’s swim program, the coach and positive attitude of all the swimmers.\u00a0 I also feel that I will get a well-rounded, strong education there as well.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A Futures qualifier, Worrall does her club swimming with Fairport Area Swim Team and placed 16th in the 50m free at TYR Junior Nationals after recording four top-6 finishes at Niagara Seniors in March 2019. She most recently competed at the WEBS Power Point meet in January where she earned two best times.<\/p>\n
