NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Clarkston, Mich. native and breaststroker Alexis Moon<\/strong> has announced her verbal commitment to Delta State University beginning in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

She will join Sydney Crawford<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kelsey Farmer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Statesmen’s Class of 2025.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my swim and academic career at Delta State University! I can’t thank my family, friends, and\u00a0coaches<\/span>\u00a0enough for helping me get to where I am\u00a0today<\/a>! Go statesman!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Currently swimming for Club Wolverine, Moon last competed at the Michigan Open in February where she finished eighth in the 200m breast. In Summer 2019, she finaled in the 50m breast and 200m breast at Cleveland Sectionals before going on to take fifth in the 50m breast, seventh in the 100m breast, and second in the 200m breast at the Michigan LCM Open.<\/p>\n
