NEW COMMIT: <\/b>Junior National qualifier <\/span>Jack Januario <\/b>of Amherst, N.H. has pledged his verbal commitment to Georgetown University beginning in the fall of 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will join<\/span> Jack Brearton<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Stephen Kim<\/b><\/a>, and<\/span> Ansen Meyer<\/b><\/a> in Washington, D.C. as a member of the Hoyas\u2019 class of 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at Georgetown University! I would like to thank my coaches, family, friends, and teammates who have helped me throughout the years. #HoyaSaxa\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented distance freestyler and backstroker, Januario does his club swimming with <\/span>Executive Health & Swim Club and last competed at the New England 15-18 Age Group Championships in March where he posted five top-4 finishes. He earned two best times at Juniors East in December before going on to grab silver in the 500\/1000\/1650 at New England Seniors.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Summer 2019, he was a seven-time finalist at New England LCM Seniors and placed ninth in the 800m free as well as 15th in both the 1500m free and 200m back at Geneva Futures.<\/span><\/p>\n
