Senior <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> swept the 1-meter (438.15 points) and 3-meter (456.90) diving events.<\/p>\n<p>Senior <strong>JohnThomas Larson<\/strong> (1,000-yard freestyle), senior <strong>Sam Pomajevich<\/strong> (200-yard butterfly), junior <strong>Daniel Krueger<\/strong> (50-yard freestyle), freshman <strong>Coby Carrozza<\/strong> (500-yard freestyle) and senior <strong>Alvin Jiang<\/strong> (100-yard butterfly) also added individual victories. Senior <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> dominated the competition with a score of 438.15 points. Freshman <strong>Noah Duperre<\/strong> (350.10), sophomore <strong>Andrew Harness<\/strong> (333.60) and freshman <strong>Brendan McCourt<\/strong> (307.65) placed second, third and fourth, respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The quartet of senior <strong>Chris Staka<\/strong>, junior <strong>Charles Scheinfeld<\/strong>, senior <strong>Alvin Jiang<\/strong> and junior<strong> Daniel Krueger<\/strong> opened the swimming events with a win in the 200-yard medley relay (1:26.83).<\/li>\n<li>The Longhorns swept the top three spots in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Senior JohnThomas Larson claimed the victory (9:09.77), while senior <strong>Parker Neri<\/strong> took second (9:14.95) and senior <strong>Alex Zettle<\/strong> placed third (9:22.28).<\/li>\n<li>Junior <strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> earned the win in the 200-yard freestyle (1:34.90), while freshman <strong>Carson Foster<\/strong> placed second (1:36.53).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Alvin Jiang took second in the 100-yard backstroke (47.53), and senior <strong>Austin Katz<\/strong> placed third (48.94).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore Caspar Corbeau claimed the victory in the 100-yard breaststroke (54.37), while junior <strong>Charles Scheinfeld<\/strong> took second (54.73).<\/li>\n<li>Texas swept the top four spots in the 200-yard butterfly. Senior Sam Pomajevich earned the win (1:46.60) and was followed closely by junior <strong>Andrew Koustik<\/strong> (1:47.00), sophomore <strong>Jake Foster<\/strong> (1:47.07) and freshman Coby Carrozza (1:47.64).<\/li>\n<li>Junior Daniel Krueger earned the win in the 50-yard freestyle (19.73).<\/li>\n<li>Junior Drew Kibler claimed the victory in the 100-yard freestyle (43.83), and senior <strong>Jake Sannem<\/strong> placed second (45.44).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Carson Foster placed second in the 200-yard backstroke (1:45.14), while senior Austin Katz finished third (1:46.86).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore Caspar Corbeau earned the win in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:58.04).<\/li>\n<li>Texas swept the top three spots in the 500-yard freestyle. Freshman Coby Carrozza claimed the victory (4:22.79) and was followed by senior JohnThomas Larson (4:28.13) and senior Alex Zettle (4:29.26).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Alvin Jiang posted the fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly (47.79) and was followed by senior Sam Pomajevich (48.16).<\/li>\n<li>Texas took the top four spots in the 3-meter diving competition. Senior Jordan Windle claimed the win with 456.90 points and was followed by sophomore Andrew Harness (410.18), freshman Noah Duperre (404.48) and freshman Brendan McCourt (342.68).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Carson Foster posted the second-fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley (1:47.61) and was followed by sophomore Jake Foster (1:49.06).<\/li>\n<li>The quartet of junior Daniel Krueger, senior Jake Sannem, freshman Coby Carrozza and junior Drew Kibler swam the fastest-time in the 400-yard freestyle relay (2:55.24).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The No. 8 University of Texas Women\u2019s Swimming and Diving team recorded an impressive 170-125 victory against No. 17 Texas A&amp;M on Friday evening at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. The Longhorns won 14 of the 16 events during the dual-meet opener for both teams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sophomore <strong>Kelly Pash<\/strong> claimed victories in the 100-yard freestyle (49.53) and 200-yard freestyle (1:46.42) and swam the fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.75). Junior <strong>Julia Cook<\/strong> earned wins in the 100-yard backstroke (53.09) and 200-yard backstroke (1:57.96), and senior <strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> took the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle (4:43.75) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:52.83).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Freshman <strong>Anna Elendt<\/strong> won in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.82) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.85). Sophomore <strong>Bridget Semenuk<\/strong> (50-yard freestyle), freshman <strong>Emma Sticklen<\/strong> (100-yard butterfly) and freshman <strong>Bridget O\u2019Neil<\/strong> (1-meter diving) also added individual victories. Sophomore<strong> Jordan Skilken<\/strong> took third (303.75).<\/li>\n<li>The quartet of junior <strong>Julia Cook<\/strong>, freshman Anna Elendt, freshman <strong>Olivia Bray<\/strong> and sophomore <strong>Bridget Semenuk<\/strong> opened the swimming events with a win in the 200-yard medley relay (1:37.87).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Evie Pfeifer claimed the victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:52.83).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore Kelly Pash earned the win in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.42).<\/li>\n<li>Junior Julia Cook claimed victory in the 100-yard backstroke (53.09), while freshman <strong>Sydney Silver<\/strong> placed second (56.35).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Anna Elendt earned the win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.82).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Emma Sticklen placed second in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.29).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore <strong>Bridget Semenuk<\/strong> claimed the victory in the 50-yard freestyle (22.70), while freshman <strong>Grace Cooper<\/strong> finished third (23.49).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore Kelly Pash earned the win in the 100-yard freestyle (49.53).<\/li>\n<li>Junior Julia Cook claimed the victory in the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.96), and freshman Sydney Silver took second (2:02.74).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Anna Elendt earned the win in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.85).<\/li>\n<li>Senior Evie Pfeifer claimed the victory in the 500-yard freestyle (4:43.75).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Emma Sticklen earned the win in the 100-yard butterfly (53.59), and freshman Olivia Bray placed second (53.62).<\/li>\n<li>Freshman Bridget O\u2019Neil placed second in the 3-meter diving (358.20 points), while junior Paola Pineda took third (352.73).<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore Kelly Pash posted the fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.75) and was followed by senior Evie Pfeifer (1:59.40).<\/li>\n<li>The quartet of sophomore Bridget Semenuk, junior Julia Cook, freshman Olivia Bray and sophomore <strong>Kyla Leibel<\/strong> swam the fastest-time in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:20.30).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Texas A&amp;M Press Release<\/h3>\n<p>Senior <strong>Jing Wen Quah<\/strong> touched the wall first for the Aggies in the 200 Fly. The Singapore native also earned a top-three spot in the 100 Fly and 200 IM, while also aiding A&amp;M&#8217;s top team in the 200 Medley Relay.<\/p>\n<p>Senior <strong>Camryn Toney<\/strong> and freshman <strong>Emme Nelson<\/strong> added multiple top-three finishes for the Aggies, each earning a pair of second-place finishes on the day.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> performed well for the Maroon &amp; White, earning a top-three finish in each of the events she competed in.<\/p>\n<p>The diving team saw its first action of the season at Texas as <strong>Charlye Campbell<\/strong> led the way for A&amp;M in the 3-Meter, posting a score of 369.08, good for a first-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>This was the second match-up this season with the Longhorns, after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/drew-kibler-throws-down-408-500-freestyle-at-texas-first-chance-casas-blasts-44-100-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">non-scored meet<\/a> earlier this month. Junior <strong>Shaine Casas<\/strong> broke two school records and notched an A-cut time in all four events he competed in at the First Chance Invite. Casas added a pair of top finishes on the final day, demolishing his own school record in the 200 Back and also earning a first-place finish in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore <strong>Andres Puente<\/strong> earned his first win of the season in the 200 Breast, while senior <strong>Mark Theall<\/strong> added a second-place finish in the 100 Free.<\/p>\n<p>Diving will return to action for the first time this season. The Aggies return SEC Men&#8217;s Diver of the Year, <strong>Kurtis Mathews<\/strong> for his final season in Aggieland.
