Bauer, who trains year-round with South Carolina Swim Club, placed sixth in the mile and ninth in the 400m free at Cary Sectionals in March after earning bronze in the 1000 free at South Carolina Seniors in February. In Summer 2019, she notched five best times at South Carolina LCM Seniors where her highest finish was a fourth-place showing in the 800m free.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Wando High School, Bauer is a six-time South Carolina 5A State Championship finalist. She was the runner-up in the 500 free and placed fifth in the 200 free as a senior while taking first and sixth, respectively, in those events during her junior season.<\/p>\n
Bauer has also led Wando to four-straight SCHSL 5A state titles.<\/p>\n
Bauer will be a huge asset when she suits up for the Sharks as a member of the Class of 2025 and will join a training group led by Emma Sundstedt<\/strong>. She would’ve placed in the top-5 of both the 1000 free and the mile at the 2020 Sunshine State Conference Championships where Nova Southeastern were the team runners-up.<\/p>\n
