NEW COMMIT: <\/b>Louisiana State University has successfully kept <\/span>Christian Booth <\/b>of <\/span>Shreveport, La. in-state for the fall of 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will join <\/span>Gavin Rogers<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Nick Toepfer<\/b><\/a>, and<\/span> Brendan Hausdorf<\/b><\/a> in Baton Rouge as members of the Tigers\u2019 class of 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cExtremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at LSU. I want to thank God, my family, and my coaches that helped me get here. #GeauxTigers\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented backstroker and sprint freestyler, Booth trains with <\/span>Louisiana Aquatic Club and placed 19th in the 100m back at College Station Sectionals in March after winning that event at Louisiana Seniors in February. In summer 2019, he earned 100% best times at the Louisiana 13&O LCM Championships where he was the 200m back runner-up and placed fourth in the 100m back.<\/span><\/p>\n
