I want to thank my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for all of their support throughout this process. GO HOOS #wahoowa\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Novelline does her club swimming with NASA Wildcat Aquatics and owns the Trials cuts in the 50m\/100m free with several additional U.S. Open standards. She most recently collected three gold medals at Illinois Seniors after finaling in the 50m\/100m free at the TYR Pro Swim Series &#8211; Knoxville.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In summer 2019, she swept the 50m\/100m\/200m free at Illinois LCM Seniors before going on to raced three events at the Phillips 66 National Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 free \u2013 22.46<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 free \u2013 48.82<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 free \u2013 1:48.33<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 back \u2013 24.89<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 back \u2013 53.39<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 back \u2013 1:57.87<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 fly \u2013 55.64<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 IM \u2013 2:01.38<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">400 IM \u2013 4:21.73<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently a junior at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Trier High School, Novelline is already a four-time individual Illinois State Championship finalist. She won the 100 back and was the runner-up in the 100 free as a sophomore while taking third in the 100 free and fifth in the 50 free during her freshman season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2019, she led off her team\u2019s<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/two-state-records-from-rachel-stege-guides-neuqua-valley-to-second-straight-illinois-state-championship\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4&#215;50 medley relay<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 24.89 that went on to break the state record with a final time of 1:40.43.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Novelline will make an immediate impact when she suits up for the Cavaliers and will be adding her talents to one of the top sprint groups in the nation come fall 2022. She would\u2019ve scored in the B-final of the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 back as well as placed in the C-final of the 200 back and 200 free at last year\u2019s conference meet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under head coach <strong>Todd DeSorbo<\/strong>, Virginia dominated the ACC Championships last season.
