NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Backstroker\u00a0Sydney Davids\u00a0<\/strong>of Lakeville, Minn. has announced her verbal commitment to The Ohio State University as a member of the Buckeyes’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Jessica Eden<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Sanna Peterson<\/a> <\/b>in Columbus at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m really excited about committing to OSU because of the amazing team and coaching staff. The program is amazing and I\u2019m so excited to be a part of it!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A Junior National qualifier, Davids does her club swimming with Riptide and most recently earned five best times at Minnesota Seniors in March where she was the runner-up in the 200 back. She finished 10th in the 100 back at Juniors West in December and finaled in the 100m back at TYR Pro Swim Series – Des Moines.<\/p>\n
