Thank you to my loving family, all of my coaches, and my amazing teammates and friends for supporting me through the years. I can\u2019t wait to join the wolfpack family, GO PACK!!??\u2764\ufe0f&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer, Monahan trains year-round with Kamehameha Swim Club and owns several National and U.S. Open cuts. She last competed at Hawaii Age Groups in February where she collected five gold medals after winning six events at Hawaii Seniors in November.<\/p>\n<p>In summer 2019, she placed first in all of her events at Hawaii LCM Age Groups before going on to race three events at Phillips 66 Nationals. Monahan also swept the fly events and won the 200 IM at Phoenix Sectionals in March 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Monahan also owns eight Hawaii LSC records for short course yards, three for long course meters, 48 different age group records for yards, and 31 age group marks for meters.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 53.79<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:58.53<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:00.57<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:22.57<\/li>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 25.78<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 55.19<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 1:59.98<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:49.40<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at University High School, Monahan is already a four-time Hawaii State Championship gold medallist. She won the 100 fly and 200 IM during both her freshman and sophomore seasons, setting a state record in the latter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/grace-monahan-alana-barthel-break-state-records-as-punahou-sweeps-hawaii-state-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in 2020<\/a>. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors.<\/p>\n<p>Even with just under two years to go before suiting up for the Wolfpack in the fall of 2022, Monahan will make an immediate impact and will join a talented butterfly\/IM group.
