I would like to sincerely thank my family, friends and coaches for helping me get to where I am today. Go Panthers!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer who specializes in breaststroke, Knothe trains year-round with Fox Valley Swim Team and most recently placed ninth in the 200 breast and 14th in the 200 IM at Illinois Seniors in March. In summer 2019, he earned 100% best times at Minneapolis Sectionals before going on to place 12th in the 50m breast at the NCSA Championships.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 breast \u2013 27.18<\/li>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 56.38<\/li>\n<li>200 breast \u2013 2:07.48<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 1:54.79<\/li>\n<li>50 fly \u2013 24.69<\/li>\n<li>50 free \u2013 22.24<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 48.78<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:47.38<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Waubonsie Valley High School, Knothe finished fourth in the 100 breast at the Illinois State Championships as a junior. He&#8217;s also a three-time IHSA Metea Valley Section Championship finalist, placing second in the 100 breast and eighth in the 100 free in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Knothe will make an immediate impact when he arrives at UW-Milwaukee in the fall of 2021.
