NEW COMMIT: <\/b>Junior National qualifier <\/span>Dillon Edge <\/b>of Beavercreek, Ohio has announced his college decision: he will attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall of 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will join <\/span>Jack Anderson<\/b><\/a> and<\/span> Tate Bacon<\/b><\/a> as a member of the Fighting Irish\u2019s Class of 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame. I will get the opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career while attending this storied institution. Being able to compete with this team is a dream come true. The team is very close and welcoming and the coaching staff has been extremely helpful, they made the recruitment process enjoyable. I am looking forward to my time there. Go Irish!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Edge, who does his club swimming with Dayton Raiders, placed 19th in the 100 breast at Juniors East in December where he earned four lifetime bests. In summer 2019, he placed fifth in the 200m IM at Ohio LCM Seniors before going on to take seventh in that event as well as ninth in the 200m breast at Geneva Futures.<\/span><\/p>\n
