NEW COMMIT: <\/b>Florida State University has secured another early verbal commitment for their growing Class of 2026 from breaststroker<\/span> Julia M\u00e5nsson<\/b> of <\/span>\u00d6rebro, Sweden.<\/span><\/p>\n

She will join Sunshine State natives <\/span>Sarah Evans<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Julia Brzozowski<\/b><\/a> in Tallahassee in the fall of 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my athletic and academic career at Florida State University!!! I am very grateful for having this opportunity and beyond excited to be part of this amazing team of FSU Swim and dive. I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who has helped me throughout this journey, especially my family, friends and coaches\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

M\u00e5nsson trains with <\/span>\u00d6rebro Simallians and advanced to the semifinals of the 50m breast at the LEN European Junior Championships in July 2019 where she finished 12th overall. In 2018, she placed 14th in the 200m breast at European Juniors.<\/span><\/p>\n
