USA Diving announced changes to the schedule for 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials \u2013 Diving, which will take place June 6-13, 2021 at the Indiana University Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.\u00a0The trials will determine the divers who will represent the United States at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 which will take place July 23-August 8, 2021.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

These schedule changes were made in order to give USA Diving athletes and the sport the maximum amount of coverage across NBC Olympics\u2019 numerous platforms, including primetime coverage on NBC. <\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

About U.S. Olympic Team Trials<\/strong>
\nA collaboration between the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and its National Governing Bodies, U.S. Olympic Team Trials are held in multiple sports prior to each edition of the Olympic Games and allow athletes to vie for the honor of representing Team USA. Often the last stop in an athlete\u2019s journey to the Olympics, the Trials also offer fans an up-close experience with America\u2019s Olympic hopefuls before they go on to compete on the world\u2019s biggest stage. Selection procedures for each sport are developed by the NGBs in concert with the USOPC and follow parameters set forth by each International Federation.<\/p>\n
