It is just the first official race in months, but I really love facing. I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks,&#8221; Kromowidjojo said on the broadcast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Zach Apple<\/strong> won the 100 free in 45.7, the only swimmer int he field to break 46 seconds in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua Centurions&#8217; <strong>Alessandro Miressi<\/strong> finished second (46.03) followed by teammate <strong>Szebasztian Szabo <\/strong>(46.63).<\/p>\n<p>London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Duncan Scott<\/strong> finished fourth (46.66).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It feels awesome. Last night, I had a couple of good relay splits so I thought I could come in today and have a pretty good performance,&#8221; Apple said.<\/p>\n<p>After the 100 free, the team scores are<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 London Roar 312<br \/>\n\u2022 Aqua Centurions 216<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Iron 210<br \/>\n\u2022 DC Trident 201<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> of Team Iron won the 200 butterfly at 2:07.04.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bethany Galat<\/strong> of DC Trident finished second.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily Large<\/strong> of the London Roar was third.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It feels good to win for the team. I think I am getting my groove back soon,&#8221; Hosszu said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The London Roar scored another big event, going 1-3 in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vini Lanza<\/strong> won the event (1:51.75) and <strong>Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> was third (1:52.85) for the London Roar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leonardo DeDeus<\/strong> of the Aqua Centurions was second (1:52.80).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Kira Toussaint<\/strong> won the 100 back in 56.24, so fast that it stole the points of the bottom three competitors of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Teammate <strong>Kathleen Dawson<\/strong> was second, giving the Roar 26 points in the event after the jackpot times.<\/p>\n<p>DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Amy Bilquist<\/strong>, who won the 200 backstroke on Day 1, finished third.<\/p>\n<p>After the huge haul in the event by the Roar, here are the running team scores:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 London Roar 361<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Iron 234<br \/>\n\u2022 Aqua Centurions 232<br \/>\n\u2022 DC Trident 223<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The London Roar men followed suit with some big points in the backstroke, going 1-3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guilherme Guido<\/strong> won the event, while teammate <strong>Christian Diener<\/strong> was third, stealing three points from the bottom two competitors because of the jackpot time.<\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Guilherme Basseto<\/strong> finished second.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That was really nice,&#8221; Guido said.<\/p>\n<p>The team scores changed to :<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 London Roar 379<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Iron 241<br \/>\n\u2022 Aqua Centurions 237<br \/>\n\u2022 DC Trident 230<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another event, another 1-2 finish for the Roar as <strong>Maria Kameneva<\/strong> won the 100 IM (58.86), going 1-2 with <strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Iron&#8217;s <strong>Jenna Laukkanen<\/strong> took third and teammate <strong>Katina Hozzsu<\/strong> was fourth.<\/p>\n<p>The DC Trident scored seven points behind <strong>Bailey Andison<\/strong> and <strong>Miranda Tucker<\/strong> and have 237 points, just two behind the Aqua Centurions (239) for third place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Marco Orsi<\/strong> won the 100 IM in 51.69.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andreas Vaziaos<\/strong> of the London Roar was second, while Aqua Centurions&#8217; <strong>Philip Heintz<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With <strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> out for the time after testing positive for COVID-19 and <strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> and <strong>Ariarne Titmus<\/strong> not competing in the ISL season \u2014 and <strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong> in the opening meet \u2014 the 200 free was an intriguing and wide open race on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Marie Wattel<\/strong> continued her strong meet, winning the 200 free in 1:54.65.<\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Veronika Andrusenko<\/strong> took second and Aqua Centurions&#8217; <strong>Valentine Dumont<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Duncan Scott<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:42.74 to earn his first ISL victory.<\/p>\n<p>Scott held off a late charge from DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Zach Apple<\/strong>, who finished second.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua Centurions&#8217; <strong>Breno Correia<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> earned her second victory of the day, crushing the field in the 50 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Her 24.74 time broke the ISL record set by <strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> earlier in the weekend. It was so fast that it hit a jackpot time that stole the points of a stunning five of her competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Only the second and third places survived with their points as Team Iron teammate <strong>Melanie Henique<\/strong> was second, followed by DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Linnea Mack<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Team Iron scored major points and Mack&#8217;s performance helped the DC Trident jump the Centurions:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 London Roar 437<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Iron 306<br \/>\n\u2022 DC Trident 263<br \/>\n\u2022 Aqua Centurions 262<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Aqua Centurions got a much-needed win in the 50 fly as <strong>Szebasztian Szabo<\/strong> won the event in 22.00.<\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Nicholas Santos<\/strong> finished second, followed by London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Marius Kusch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Szabo&#8217;s time hit a jackpot that stole the points of the bottom four competitors in the event.<\/p>\n<p>The jackpot shook up the team scores again as the Centurions scored 24 points in the event and the Trident were shut out:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 London Roar 443<br \/>\n\u2022 Team Iron 313<br \/>\n\u2022 Aqua Centurions 286<br \/>\n\u2022 DC Trident 263<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> claimed the 100 breaststroke title in 1:04.21, another big win for the Roar.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua Centurions teammates <strong>Martina Carraro<\/strong> and <strong>Arianna Castiglioni<\/strong> went 2-3 for some big points.<\/p>\n<p>DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Lindsey Kozelsky<\/strong> made a move early and was second at one point, but finished fourth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After <strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong> of the London Roar was overtaken in the 50 and 200 breaststrokes, touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke in yet another win for the Roar.<\/p>\n<p>Peaty&#8217;s time was 56.38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> of the Aqua Centurions was second, followed by Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Emre Sakci<\/strong>, who made a late charge.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was hard coming in against world-class guys, especially short course guys. Since I haven&#8217;t raced since February, those race skills have just dropped back a bit, but I am happy with that,&#8221; Peaty said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixed 4&#215;100 Free Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DC Trident won the mixed free relay behind <strong>Zach Apple, Robert Howard, Margo Geer<\/strong> and <strong>Ky-lee Perry<\/strong> won in 3:18.82.<\/p>\n<p>Apple had a great split to lead off and a Perry anchored with a 53.1, holding off late charges by the London Roar and Aqua Centurions to earn a much-needed victory for the Trident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team Iron&#8217;s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> earned her second win of the day, touching the wall in 4:30.52 to win the 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>She held off DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Bailey Andison<\/strong>, as well as a late charge from London Roar&#8217;s <strong>Aimee Willmott. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am very happy with the win. Not my best time, but it is my third event of the night,&#8221; Hosszu said. &#8220;I can&#8217;t wait for the skins.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following Hosszu&#8217;s performance, Team Iron went 1-2 in the men&#8217;s 400 IM. <strong>David Verraszto<\/strong> won the event in 4:04.25.<\/p>\n<p>Teammate <strong>Leonardo Santos<\/strong> finished second, holding off DC Trident&#8217;s <strong>Abrahm DeVine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 Backstroke Skins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First round<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.
