Women’s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\nRanomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of Team Iron won the 100 free to start the second day of competition in 52.00.<\/p>\nAnna Hopkin<\/strong> of the London Roar was second (52.42), followed by teammate Marie Wattel <\/strong>(52.64).<\/p>\nDC Trident’s Margo Geer<\/strong> was fourth (53.40).<\/p>\n“I am feeling amazing. It is just the first official race in months, but I really love facing. I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks,” Kromowidjojo said on the broadcast.<\/p>\n
Men’s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\nDC Trident’s Zach Apple<\/strong> won the 100 free in 45.7, the only swimmer int he field to break 46 seconds in the event.<\/p>\nAqua Centurions’ Alessandro Miressi<\/strong> finished second (46.03) followed by teammate Szebasztian Szabo <\/strong>(46.63).<\/p>\nLondon Roar’s Duncan Scott<\/strong> finished fourth (46.66).<\/p>\n“It feels awesome. Last night, I had a couple of good relay splits so I thought I could come in today and have a pretty good performance,” Apple said.<\/p>\n

Women’s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\nKatinka Hosszu<\/strong> of Team Iron won the 200 butterfly at 2:07.04.<\/p>\nBethany Galat<\/strong> of DC Trident finished second.<\/p>\nEmily Large<\/strong> of the London Roar was third.<\/p>\n“It feels good to win for the team. I think I am getting my groove back soon,” Hosszu said.<\/p>\n
Men’s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\nThe London Roar scored another big event, going 1-3 in the men’s 200 butterfly.<\/p>\n
Vini Lanza<\/strong> won the event (1:51.75) and Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> was third (1:52.85) for the London Roar.<\/p>\nLeonardo DeDeus<\/strong> of the Aqua Centurions was second (1:52.80).<\/p>\n<\/div>\nWomen’s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\nLondon Roar’s Kira Toussaint<\/strong> won the 100 back in 56.24, so fast that it stole the points of the bottom three competitors of the event.<\/p>\nTeammate Kathleen Dawson<\/strong> was second, giving the Roar 26 points in the event after the jackpot times.<\/p>\nDC Trident’s Amy Bilquist<\/strong>, who won the 200 backstroke on Day 1, finished third.<\/p>\nAfter the huge haul in the event by the Roar, here are the running team scores:<\/p>\n

Men’s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\nThe London Roar men followed suit with some big points in the backstroke, going 1-3.<\/p>\n
Guilherme Guido<\/strong> won the event, while teammate Christian Diener<\/strong> was third, stealing three points from the bottom two competitors because of the jackpot time.<\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Guilherme Basseto<\/strong> finished second.<\/p>\n“That was really nice,” Guido said.<\/p>\n

Women’s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\nAnother event, another 1-2 finish for the Roar as Maria Kameneva<\/strong> won the 100 IM (58.86), going 1-2 with Alia Atkinson<\/strong>.<\/p>\nIron’s Jenna Laukkanen<\/strong> took third and teammate Katina Hozzsu<\/strong> was fourth.<\/p>\nThe DC Trident scored seven points behind Bailey Andison<\/strong> and Miranda Tucker<\/strong> and have 237 points, just two behind the Aqua Centurions (239) for third place.<\/p>\nMen’s 100 IM<\/strong><\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Marco Orsi<\/strong> won the 100 IM in 51.69.<\/p>\nAndreas Vaziaos<\/strong> of the London Roar was second, while Aqua Centurions’ Philip Heintz<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\nWomen’s 200 Free<\/strong><\/p>\nWith Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> out for the time after testing positive for COVID-19 and Katie Ledecky<\/strong> and Ariarne Titmus<\/strong> not competing in the ISL season \u2014 and Siobhan Haughey<\/strong> in the opening meet \u2014 the 200 free was an intriguing and wide open race on Monday.<\/p>\nLondon Roar’s Marie Wattel<\/strong> continued her strong meet, winning the 200 free in 1:54.65.<\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Veronika Andrusenko<\/strong> took second and Aqua Centurions’ Valentine Dumont<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\nMen’s 200 Free<\/strong><\/p>\nLondon Roar’s Duncan Scott<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:42.74 to earn his first ISL victory.<\/p>\nScott held off a late charge from DC Trident’s Zach Apple<\/strong>, who finished second.<\/p>\nAqua Centurions’ Breno Correia<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\nWomen’s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> earned her second victory of the day, crushing the field in the 50 butterfly.<\/p>\nHer 24.74 time broke the ISL record set by Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> earlier in the weekend. It was so fast that it hit a jackpot time that stole the points of a stunning five of her competitors.<\/p>\nOnly the second and third places survived with their points as Team Iron teammate Melanie Henique<\/strong> was second, followed by DC Trident’s Linnea Mack<\/strong>.<\/p>\nTeam Iron scored major points and Mack’s performance helped the DC Trident jump the Centurions:<\/p>\n

Men’s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Aqua Centurions got a much-needed win in the 50 fly as Szebasztian Szabo<\/strong> won the event in 22.00.<\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Nicholas Santos<\/strong> finished second, followed by London Roar’s Marius Kusch<\/strong>.<\/p>\nSzabo’s time hit a jackpot that stole the points of the bottom four competitors in the event.<\/p>\n
The jackpot shook up the team scores again as the Centurions scored 24 points in the event and the Trident were shut out:<\/p>\n

Women’s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\nLondon Roar’s Alia Atkinson<\/strong> claimed the 100 breaststroke title in 1:04.21, another big win for the Roar.<\/p>\nAqua Centurions teammates Martina Carraro<\/strong> and Arianna Castiglioni<\/strong> went 2-3 for some big points.<\/p>\nDC Trident’s Lindsey Kozelsky<\/strong> made a move early and was second at one point, but finished fourth.<\/p>\nMen’s 100 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\nAfter Adam Peaty<\/strong> of the London Roar was overtaken in the 50 and 200 breaststrokes, touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke in yet another win for the Roar.<\/p>\nPeaty’s time was 56.38.<\/p>\n
Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> of the Aqua Centurions was second, followed by Team Iron’s Emre Sakci<\/strong>, who made a late charge.<\/p>\n“It was hard coming in against world-class guys, especially short course guys. Since I haven’t raced since February, those race skills have just dropped back a bit, but I am happy with that,” Peaty said.<\/p>\n
Mixed 4×100 Free Relay<\/strong><\/p>\nDC Trident won the mixed free relay behind Zach Apple, Robert Howard, Margo Geer<\/strong> and Ky-lee Perry<\/strong> won in 3:18.82.<\/p>\nApple had a great split to lead off and a Perry anchored with a 53.1, holding off late charges by the London Roar and Aqua Centurions to earn a much-needed victory for the Trident.<\/p>\n
Women’s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\nTeam Iron’s Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> earned her second win of the day, touching the wall in 4:30.52 to win the 400 IM.<\/p>\nShe held off DC Trident’s Bailey Andison<\/strong>, as well as a late charge from London Roar’s Aimee Willmott. <\/strong><\/p>\n“I am very happy with the win. Not my best time, but it is my third event of the night,” Hosszu said. “I can’t wait for the skins.”<\/p>\n
Men’s 400 IM<\/strong><\/p>\nFollowing Hosszu’s performance, Team Iron went 1-2 in the men’s 400 IM. David Verraszto<\/strong> won the event in 4:04.25.<\/p>\nTeammate Leonardo Santos<\/strong> finished second, holding off DC Trident’s Abrahm DeVine<\/strong>.<\/p>\nWomen’s 50 Backstroke Skins<\/strong><\/p>\nFirst round<\/strong><\/p>\n1.
