NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Denver has picked up a new verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Scottsdale, Az. native\u00a0Haley Chesno<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She will join Jessica Maeda<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Mia Moulden<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>as a member of the Pioneers’ Class of 2025.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic studies and athletic career, swimming Division 1 at The Univerity of Denver! I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for all believing in me and helping me accomplish my goals! so excited for the next 4 years as a pioneer! #gopios”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented backstroker, Chesno is a Futures qualifier who swims year-round with Phoenix Swim Club and most recently placed eighth in the 200 back at the Arizona Senior Open in February. In summer 2019, she raced seven events at Mount Hood Sectionals.<\/p>\n
