NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Louisville has received another verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season from U.S. Open qualifier Jordan Durocher\u00a0<\/strong>of Fredericksburg, Va.<\/p>\n

She will join U.S. National Junior Teamer Rye Ulett<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Cardinals’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m extremely honored and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Louisville. I couldn\u2019t thank my coaches, family, friends, and teammates enough! GO CARDS!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A versatile swimmer, Durocher trains year-round with Nation’s Capital Swim Club and owns several Junior National and U.S. Open standards. She most recently posted a pair of top-10 finishes at Potomac Valley Seniors in March and achieved six PBs at December’s NCAP Invitational.<\/p>\n

In summer 2019, she finished seventh in the 100m back at Potomac Valley LCM Seniors before going on to earn seven best times at NCSAs.<\/p>\n

Currently a junior at Riverbend High School, Durocher is a four-time Virginia Class 6 State Championship finalist. She was the runner-up in the 500 free and placed fifth in the 200 IM as a sophomore while taking eighth in the 200 IM and 10th in the 100 back during her freshman season.<\/p>\n

Her best times include:<\/p>\n
