NEW COMMITS:\u00a0<\/strong>St. Francis University of Pennsylvania has received two verbal commitments for the 2021-22 season and beyond from in-state club teammates\u00a0Lizzie Smeltzer\u00a0<\/strong>of North Huntingdon, Pa. and\u00a0Baily Trettel\u00a0<\/strong>of Slippery Rock, Pa.<\/p>\n

Both talented swimmers currently train year-round with Racer X Aquatics.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

Primarily a breaststroker and IMer, Smeltzer most recently finished fifth in the 200 breast and sixth in the 400 IM at the Allegheny Mountain Junior Olympics in March. In summer 2019, she had three top-10 finishes at the TPIT Junior Olympics before going on to race three events at Eastern Zone Seniors.<\/p>\n
