NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>After originally sending his verbal pledge to Northwestern<\/a>, Peoria, Az. native\u00a0Daniel Matheson\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Southern California<\/a> for the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

He will join Vincent Cheng<\/strong><\/a>, Mason Morris<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Chris<\/b>\u00a0O\u2019Grady<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0Kevin Sichak\u00a0<\/b><\/a>in Los Angeles as a member of the Trojans’ Class of 2025.<\/p>\n

A talented distance freestyler and IMer, Matheson does his club swimming with Scottsdale Aquatic Club and owns six Junior National standards. He earned 100% best times at Arizona Seniors in February after placing eighth in the 500 free and ninth in the mile at Juniors West in December. In summer 2019, he earned silver in the 200m fly at both Des Moines Futures and at Mount Hood Sectionals.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
