Sophomore <strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> topped the meet record in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:53.48), while freshman <strong>David Johnston<\/strong> set a meet record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (8:55.31). In the diving well, senior <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> swept the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2020-texas-orange-vs-white-day-2-day-2-ncaa-college-2020-10-02.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Friday Results<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Junior <strong>Daniel Krueger<\/strong> started off Friday\u2019s action with a victory in the 100-yard freestyle (42.07), while junior <a href=\"https:\/\/texassports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong><\/a> (43.32) claimed second. Krueger\u2019s time narrowly missed besting his own Orange-White meet record (41.99). This marked Krueger\u2019s second individual event win of the meet, as he also claimed the 50-yard freestyle victory on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Senior <strong>Austin Katz<\/strong> won the 200-yard backstroke (1:41.77). His time was just off his own meet record (1:41.68).<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Caspar Corbeau claimed the win in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:53.48), while sophomore <strong>Jake Foster<\/strong> (1:56.53) took second. Corbeau\u2019s time set a meet record, shattering his own previous mark (1:55.49) by more than two seconds. This marked Corbeau\u2019s second individual event win of the meet, as he also earned the 100-yard breaststroke victory on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman David Johnston won the 1,000-yard freestyle (8:55.31), while junior <strong>Alex Zettle<\/strong> placed second (8:58.54). Johnston\u2019s time set a meet record, topping the previous mark set by Zettle (8:58.07). This marked Johnston\u2019s second individual event win of the meet, as he also earned the 500-yard freestyle victory on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Jordan Windle captured the victory on the 1-meter springboard (193.50 points), while freshman <strong>Noah Duperre<\/strong> claimed second (178.70 points).<\/p>\n<p>Junior Drew Kibler earned the win in the 200-yard freestyle (1:34.46), while freshman <strong>Coby Carrozza<\/strong> placed second (1:35.14) and junior <strong>Daniel Krueger<\/strong> took third (1:36.52).<\/p>\n<p>Senior <strong>Alvin Jiang<\/strong> won the 100-yard butterfly (46.03), while senior <strong>Sam Pomajevich<\/strong> placed second (47.63) and sophomore <strong>Cole Crane<\/strong> took third (47.90). This marked Jiang\u2019s second individual event win of the meet, as he also earned the 100-yard backstroke victory on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Carson Foster<\/strong> claimed the 400-yard individual medley (3:41.32), while his older brother, sophomore Jake Foster, took second (3:44.49). This marked Carson Foster\u2019s second individual event win of the meet, as he also earned the 200-yard individual medley title on Thursday. It also marked the first time the event was contested at the Orange-White meet.<\/p>\n<p>The White team\u2019s quartet of Caspar Corbeau (20.06), senior <strong>Luke Bowman <\/strong>(19.76), Alvin Jiang (19.33) and Daniel Krueger (19.42) won the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:18.57).<\/p>\n<p>Senior Jordan Windle capped off the meet with a win on the 3-meter springboard (206.30 points), while freshman Noah Duperre took second (171.53 points).<\/p>\n<p><i>\u2014 The above press release was posted by Swimming World in conjunction with Texas Longhorns men&#8217;s swimming and diving<\/i><i>.
