The 2020 edition of the Golden Goggle Awards will be held virtually on Thursday, Nov. 19 with free admission for all.<\/p>\n

The event will be streamed by USA Swimming. The USA Swimming Foundation will have a silent auction and virtual table sales.<\/p>\n

Among the planned program is a salute to front-line healthcare workers and others battling the COVID-19 pandemic and a look ahead to the Olympic year of 2021. The event will include a commemoration for the 40th anniversary of the 1980 Olympic team<\/a>, which missed out on the Moscow Olympic Games due to the U.S. boycott.<\/p>\n

Rowdy Gaines<\/strong>, part of the 1980 Olympic team, offered a virtual invitation to the awards:<\/p>\n
