The Toronto Titans<\/strong>‘ final roster has been released by the International Swimming League<\/strong> with little more than a fortnight to go before the commencement of the second season.<\/p>\n

The competition – in which Energy Standard<\/strong> are defending champions – starts in Budapest on 16 October where 10 teams will enjoy five weeks of competition.<\/p>\n

The venue for the grand finale – held last year in Las Vegas – has yet to be confirmed with organisers hoping it can be held in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Titans are one of two new teams – along with the Tokyo Frog Kings<\/strong> – to join the fray and feature the likes of Brent Hayden<\/strong>, making his comeback 15 years after claiming his first global medals at the 2005 World Championships in Montreal, Rio 2016 relay bronze medallist Emily Overholt<\/strong> and 50 fly world-record holder Andriy Govorov.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Apostolos Tsagkarakis<\/strong>, technical director of ISL, said:<\/p>\n
“Concerning Toronto Titans, this is the first of our two rookie clubs.<\/p>\n
Although we knew it wouldn’t be easy for the rookie teams to enter ISL in Season 2, the Titans will be\u00a0 a strong force and will not be easy to beat.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
