At the <a href=\"https:\/\/qld.swimming.org.au\/events\/2020-mcdonalds-queensland-short-course-championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">McDonalds Queensland Short Course Championships<\/a>, Pribadi clocked in at 2:37.56, taking down a record set in 2006 by <strong>Felicia Tjandra<\/strong> by more than five seconds (2:42.66). She also edged <strong>Ressa Kania Dewi\u2019s<\/strong> record in the 100 breast from last year by .01 with a time of 1:10.56.<\/p>\n<p>She competed in five events at the Queensland Championships \u2013 the 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 and 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly. She won the girls 15-year-old 100 IM in a time of 1:04.61.<\/p>\n<p>The records come less than a month after she downed the national record in the 50 breaststroke, a time of 33.12 seconds at the Speedo Short Course meet in Brisbane on Aug. 29. That erased <strong>Margareta Kreptadani\u2019s<\/strong> record from 2013 (33.61).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis whole COVID-19 situation has troubled me, mentally and physically,\u201d Pribadi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejakartapost.com\/news\/2020\/09\/28\/indonesian-swimming-sensation-elysha-pribadi-breaks-three-national-records-in-australia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told <em>The Jakarta Post<\/em><\/a>. \u201cMy preparations over the past year were basically ruined, as I had to stop training for 10 weeks due to the pandemic in Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elysha Chloe Pribadi, a 15-year-old rising star from Indonesia, has set three national short-course records in the last month at meets held in Australia.
