NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Florida State University has picked up their first early verbal pledge for the 2022-23 season from Sarasota, Fla. native\u00a0Julia Brzozowski\u00a0<\/strong>who will arrive in Tallahassee as a member of the Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Her older brother, Jason<\/b> Brzozowski<\/strong><\/a>, recently announced his verbal commitment to the Seminoles for the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I’m thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at Florida State University. None of this would be possible without the constant support of my family, friends, and coaches. I’m so grateful for the journey that its been, and the journey to come. Go Noles!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented distance freestyler, Brzozowski does her club swimming with Sarasota Tsunami Swim Team and won the 500 free and the mile at the CAT Clearwater Invitational in December where she achieved three best times. Last summer, she finished eighth in the 1500m free at Greensboro Futures.<\/p>\n
