I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me through it all. I can\u2019t wait to be a Gator!??? #GoGators\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dixon does her club swimming with NOVA of Virginia Aquatics and owns several Junior National standards with the Olympic Trials cuts in the 100m\/200m back and 200m\/400m IM. Godwin High School, Dixon is already a four-time Virginia Class 5 State Championship finalist. She won the 200 IM and was the runner-up in the 100 back as a sophomore while taking third in the 100 back and fourth in the 100 fly during her freshman campaign.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2020, she broke the Virginia Class 5 and overall state record<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/10-records-fall-as-douglas-s-freeman-boys-first-colonial-girls-win-virginia-class-5-state-championships\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the 200 IM<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts in the pool and in the classroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even with just under two years to go before suiting up for the Gators, Dixon will make a huge impact in a number of different events.
