I want to say an enormous thank you to all my coaches (especially Scott and Ben!), my teammates, family, and friends for supporting me along the way! Finally, I want to thank Coach Kelly for offering me this incredible opportunity! Can\u2019t wait to begin my career as a Gopher!! #SkiUMah \u303d\ufe0f??\u303d\ufe0f&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Johnston, who does his club swimming with Minnesota Flyers, most recently earned bronze in both the 100 breast and 200 breast at Minnesota Seniors in March. Last summer, he raced to seventh place in the 200m breast at Minnesota LCM Seniors before going on to compete at Des Moines Futures.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 breast &#8211; 26.73<\/li>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 56.94<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:03.51<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:55.92<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Mound Westonka High School, Johnston is a four-time Minnesota Class A State Championship finalist.
