NEW COMMIT: <\/b>The University of Florida has been on a roll recently with their Class of 2026 recruiting, now receiving four verbal commitments in the past few days. Their latest comes from <\/span>Scarlet Martin <\/b>of Iowa City, Iowa.<\/span><\/p>\n

She will join Florida natives <\/span>Mallory Schleicher<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Bella Lojewski<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Anna Moore <\/b><\/a>in Gainesville at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s with great excitement that I announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Florida!! I want to thank my friends, family, and all my coaches for helping me get here!! Go gators!!?\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One of the top butterfliers in her class, Martin swims year-round with <\/span>Eastern Iowa Swimming Federation and owns several Junior National standards. She won the 100 back at Iowa Seniors in February before going on to take 14th in the 200m fly at TYR Pro Swim Series in Des Moines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last summer, she earned gold in the 100m fly at Iowa LCM Seniors after grabbing bronze in that event at Minneapolis Sectionals. Martin also placed third in the 100m fly and fourth in the 200m fly at Des Moines Futures.<\/span><\/p>\n
