NEW COMMIT: <\/b>U.S. Open qualifier <\/span>Parker Nolan <\/b>of Chicago, Ill. has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Michigan and will arrive in Ann Arbor in the fall of 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will join <\/span>Connor Hunt<\/b><\/a>,<\/span> Cameron Luarde<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Jacque Wenger<\/b><\/a>, and <\/span>Tim Connery<\/b><\/a> as a member of the Wolverines\u2019 class of 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am unbelievably excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan. I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for their support throughout the recruiting process. Can\u2019t wait to be in Ann Arbor next fall! Go Blue!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprinter, Nolan swims year-round with <\/span>Chicago Wolfpack Aquatic Club and is a Junior National and U.S. Open qualifier. He finished 12th in the 100 free and 13th in the 50 free at Juniors West in December where he earned four new best times.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last summer, he had a stellar showing at the NCSA Championships. There, he earned bronze in the 50m fly and took fourth in both the 50m free and 100m fly as well as sixth in the 100m free.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
