Texas diver Alison Gibson and Washington &amp; Lee swimmer Emily Hageboeck also made the cut of the final 30, selected from a list of 605 school nominees and 161 conference finalists.<\/p>\n<p>The top 30 includes 10 outstanding female athletes from each Division I, II and III who have excelled in academics, community services and leadership as well as athletics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 30 honorees selected this year excelled in the classroom and in competition while also remaining committed to serving their peers and communities,\u201d <strong>Suzette McQueen<\/strong>, chair of the Woman of the Year Selection Committee and senior associate commissioner for external relations and strategic marketing\/senior woman administrator at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncaa.org\/about\/resources\/media-center\/news\/top-30-honorees-named-2020-ncaa-woman-year-award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said in an NCAA statement<\/a>. \u201cThese outstanding women represent the thousands of diverse and talented women competing in college sports each year, and we\u2019re proud to recognize their achievements on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eldridge, <a href=\"https:\/\/12thman.com\/news\/2020\/9\/17\/womens-swimming-and-diving-eldridge-named-top-30-honoree-for-ncaa-woman-of-the-year.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a two-time Texas A&amp;M captain<\/a>, graduated in May with degrees animal science and genetics and a minor in business. She had a 3.979 GPA and has begun veterinary school at NC State. A four-time SEC team champion, Eldridge was a four-time CSCAA All-American, was Texas A&amp;M\u2019s female nominee for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/texas-am-nominates-raena-eldridge-benjamin-walker-for-mcwhorter-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SEC\u2019s H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship<\/a>, won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/texas-am-nominates-raena-eldridge-benjamin-walker-for-mcwhorter-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arthur Ashe, Jr. Female Sports Scholar of the Year<\/a> and was a two-time winner of A&amp;M\u2019s Bill Erwin Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson, <a href=\"https:\/\/texassports.com\/news\/2020\/9\/17\/womens-swimming-and-diving-gibson-named-one-of-top-30-honorees-for-2020-ncaa-woman-of-the-year-award.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a six-time All-American<\/a>, was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/allison-gibson-wins-1m-dive-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2017 NCAA champion in the one-meter springboard<\/a> for the Longhorns and represented the United States at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships, among other international competitions. The four-time Big 12 champion and 2020 Big 12 Women\u2019s Diver of the Year was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 pick who won an NCAA Winter Sports Postgraduate Scholarship award and the Big 12 Prentice Gautt Postgraduate Scholarship. An advertising, media and analytics major, she is pursuing a master\u2019s degree in advertising at Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Seidt <a href=\"https:\/\/ukathletics.com\/news\/2020\/9\/17\/swimming-diving-seidt-moves-on-named-to-2020-ncaa-woman-of-the-year-top-30-list.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">graduated with a degree in kinesiology<\/a> in May and has enrolled in Kentucky\u2019s physical therapy graduate program. She is the program\u2019s leader, among men and women and swimmers and divers, in All-America honors (21), SEC Championships medals (15) and NCAA Championships podium finishes (8). She competed at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/asia-seidt-lowers-200-back-meet-record-at-world-university-games-in-semi-finals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World University Games<\/a> and was the 2019 Arthur Ashe Female Sports Scholar of the Year recipient and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/asia-seidt-named-sec-boyd-mcwhorter-scholar-athlete-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SEC\u2019s 2020 H. Boyd McWhorter Women\u2019s Scholar-Athlete of the Year recipient<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hageboeck is <a href=\"https:\/\/generalssports.com\/news\/2020\/9\/17\/womens-swimming-hageboeck-named-a-top-30-finalist-for-2020-ncaa-woman-of-the-year-award.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a 14-time All-American<\/a> at Division III Washington &amp; Lee, the second-most All-American honors in program history. The 17-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference champion graduated with program records in three individual events and both medley relays, a three-time ODAC Swimmer of the Year and three-time ODAC Scholar Athlete of the Year. An accounting major, Hageboeck was a three-time CSCAA Scholar All-American. She received the 2020\u00a0 William McHenry Scholar-Athlete Award as W&amp;L\u2019s top female scholar-athlete and the ODAC&#8217;s Marjorie Berkley Award as the conference\u2019s top female scholar-athlete.<\/p>\n<p>Nine finalists, three from each division, will be named in October.
