NEW COMMITS:\u00a0<\/strong>Cleveland State University has received their first verbal commitments for the 2021-22 season from Oswego, Ill. native Mackenzie Lipnick\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Holly White\u00a0<\/strong>of Liverpool, Great Britain.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce that I have verbally committed to continue my academic and swimming career at Cleveland State University!!! I’d like to thank my family, friends, coaches, teammates, and teachers for helping me through this process and for their continued support. Can’t wait to be a part of such an amazing program & team! #govikings”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Her best times include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • 200 free – 1:55.96<\/li>\n
  • 500 free – 4:59.02<\/li>\n
  • 1000 free – 10:28.59<\/li>\n
  • 1650 free – 17:41.47<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Lipnick does her club swimming with Delta Aquatics and finished seventh in the mile and 14th in the 1000 free at Illinois Seniors in March. Last summer, she earned 100% best times at Illinois LCM Seniors where her highest finish was a sixth-place showing in the 1500m free. She is currently a senior at Oswego Co-op High School.<\/p>\n

    Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

    “I am so happy to announce my verbal commitment to Cleveland State University 2021, where i will be continuing my academic & swim career! A massive thank you to my club, my parents and friends for all there support throughout my journey. I am so excited to experience the next 4 years as part of the CSU family! #govikings”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Her best times include:<\/p>\n

    • 100m fly – 1:03.64<\/li>\n
    • 200m fly – 2:21.20<\/li>\n
    • 400m free – 4:29.71<\/li>\n
    • 100m back – 1:06.24<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      White trains year-round with City of Liverpool SC and finaled in the 200m fly at the National SC Winter Championships in December after racing five events at Northwest Winter Regionals. Last summer, she recorded a best times at the Swim England National Summer Meet where she was a three-time finalist.<\/p>\n
