I want to thank all my friends, family, and coaches for their support. Go Wildcats.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Werwie does his club swimming with Sun Prairie Storm and earned six best times at the Wisconsin 13&amp;O Championships in March where he finished fifth in the 400 IM and seventh in the 1000 free. Last summer, he raced seven events at TYR ISCA Summer Seniors en route to notching several new PBs.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:42.92<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 9:54.33<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:55.70<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:09.29<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:56.37<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Sun Prairie High School, Werwie is a four-time Wisconsin DI State Championship finalist. In South Africa we have a variety of wild cats, from the fastest to the strongest. That&#8217;s what I want to contribute to the Team.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wolmarans swims year-round with Port Elizabeth Amateur Swimming and finished fourth in the 50m back, fifth in the 50m free and 100m back, and seventh in the 50m fly at the South African Grand Prix in January. At the South African Short Course Championships last summer, he finished sixth in the 50m free.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50m free &#8211; 23.60<\/li>\n<li>100m free &#8211; 53.43<\/li>\n<li>50m back &#8211; 26.95<\/li>\n<li>100m back &#8211; 1:01.21<\/li>\n<li>50m fly &#8211; 25.59<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In April 2019, he sprinted to seventh place in the 50m free at South African Nationals.
